Organic insect spray

This recipe is organic and can be sprayed on your brassicas and other green vegetables and helps keep the white moth and their caterpillars at bay. 

Ingredients

• 1 litre water

• 1 tablespoon chilli powder

• 1 tablespoon crushed garlic 

• 1 tablespoon turmeric 

• 1 tablespoon olive oil or similar

• 2 drops dishwashing liquid.

Preparation

Place all ingredients in saucepan, stir and bring to boil. Allow to cool. Pour liquid through a sieve into a jug. Then pour the liquid into a spray bottle. 

Note: Not suitable for very small seedlings.
