A Question For Our Gardeners

For something different this month, we have a question from one of our gardeners, Rhiannon.

“I struggled over summer with hydrophobic soil and would love to know if others have had this issue and how they tackled it. I was down the garden watering most days, but it seemed half my plants weren't getting enough, and the others were drowning. Beyond adding adequate mulch and being very careful in my watering habits, I'm at a bit of a loss of how to prepare and rectify when we head back into the warmer months.”
